The land that nurtured Yamashima Village was once called “Tedorigawa Masamune”.

During the Meiji and Taisho period, the number of brewery were a dozen and became known as the “brewery villages”, due to being blessed with abundant water and rice of the Tedori River.

The vicinity of the sake went very far off and the “Tedori Sake” and “Yamashima Sake” gained fame even outside the prefecture.

However, “Tedorigawa Masamune” is the only sake that conveys the flavor today.

After being founded in the Meiji Year 3, we have been determined to devote our handmade sake and continue to protect the tradition of the village.
