Basic rules at Ogura Sake Brewery (Good Sake at a Cheaper Price)
1. The Good Sake
To become a label that would be publicly, and objectively be known as 'delicious'. There are no doubts that there are other brewers that work for a "delicious" product, but we constantly research about our costumers, as well as other breweries.
2. Cheap
We believe that it is important to have customers to be genuinely surprised of getting a good sake at a cheap price. Rather than focusing on using good materials, which will eventually rise the price of the end-product, we focus on how to make a good product. This, we believe, is an important approach.
3. Safety and Security
We believe that by having a safe, balanced quality is the true meaning of professionalism. And, sake is, after all, food. It is something that goes directly in your body. Therefore, we are always aware of how to avoid giving a negative affect to people's bodies, and believe that a constant risk management approach is one of the main responsibilities as a food maker.
4. Health
We hope to create products that will support the people's health.
5. Our View
So, what can we do to get closer to the goals through 1 to 4? Is it the ingredients we use? Is it the building materials? Is it the education of our employees? Is it to be careful, and take time on making a product? Or, is it the hopes of the brewers? We take all these aspects into our views, and put importance on making these goals (1 to 4) happen.
