■ About Nakagawa Sake Brewery
Established in 1828, Nakagawa Sake Brewery is known to be the oldest sake brewery in the east region of Tottori Prefecture.
The name "Fukujukai" originates from the celebratory Noh song "Makurajido" (*Noh is a type of classical Japanese theater). This name was given to the sake in hope for perpetual youth and a long life.
On 1988, we went back to the origins, when we were making local sake, and started to brew Inaba-tsuru as a signature sake, keeping the Tottori Prefecture's characteristics alive in the sake. This sake is enjoyed by many with a nice slice of sashimi, oysters, and other local cuisines that changes over seasons.
