【Gonohe Factory (Jokuu)】
Gonohe-machi is known for its beautiful hills, and for having the post station for Okushuu road. At one of the corners in this town, we have our brewery for making Jokuu. The well in our storage unit is directly connected with the waters of Gonohe river, bringing the water filled with nature into our local sake. Our brewing motto is to use all of our five senses and handmade. We distill our sake in low temperature over a long period of time, a technique taken in from the southern region of Japan, and we reflect the ideas of "Pure yet fruitful", "Full of Taste", and "A Crisp Aftertaste" to all over our sake produced in Gonohe. We aim to make a 'new' local sake, and we are not afraid of taking in challenges to further improve our sake.
