■ We only make high class sake
There are much more to know about our sake brewery than just being known as having one of the longest history in Nara Prefecture. At one point, we were brewing normal sake (lower polished rice based sake). However, knowing that our future does not only depend on those, we decided to change the ways we brew sake back in 1987. We stopped all brewing of normal sake, and gradually, started to make high class sake, higher than Honjuzou sake. And taking each process carefully, we started to sell our good sake to people. In order to fit this change in our product, we rebuilt our brewery to match the high standards, invested in better equipment. Gradually, we started to gain our recognition as a high standard sake brewery from local sake stores, department stores, and to the sake lovers out there.
In 2005, we went back to the origins of making Japanese sake, and started to re-brand ourselves as a sake brewery that makes pure rice sake.
